BC National Forest Week – Walking Tours

Friends of the Qualicum Beach Forest and the Qualicum Beach Museum will be hosting several walking tours during BC National Forest Week, which runs September 21st – 27th.

These tours highlight the incredible trees and forests we have right here in Qualicum Beach. They each will take approx. 1.5 hrs.

  • Tuesday September 23rd – The Heritage Forest: Trees, Plants, and Wildlife, with Dr. Lynne Brookes.

  • Wednesday September 24th – The Heritage Forest: History, Ecology, and Cultural Significance, with Tom Whitfield.

  • Thursday September 25th – Ornamental Trees of Milner Gardens, with Denise Winter, 12:30 p.m. – Tour is free with admission to the gardens: $10/adult, $6/youth
  • Saturday September 27th – Boldly Hunting Invasive Aliens!, with Carrie Reid, at the Museum Trail, 2 p.m.
