Children’s Museum Day

This fun-filled family event is free to the public and happens every August.  Features a marimba band, pony rides, cookies and lemonade.  Activity stations include headband making, First Nations, spinning and weaving, origami, old timey dress-up, ‘send a telegram’, guess the artefact, boat making, nature table, meet a live owl, face painting, fossil rubbing…AND MORE!  We were sad that this longstanding event was cancelled due to COVID in 2020, but it will be back soon!

QB Reads

Join us for QB Reads, a festival celebrating local writers and creativity.  We feature one writer per month from June through September, including a display in the museum and a presentation.  Please contact us if you would like to share your creative journey with our community, all genres of writing welcome.
